Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Susan Sirianni

Dr. Sirianni grew up in the Rochester area. During high school, she experienced her first episode of low back pain. Her mother brought her to a chiropractor for evaluation and treatment. The therapies were successful and she immediately fell in love with the profession and the practice. With this experience, she decided to become a chiropractor. Dr. Sirianni obtained her doctorate of chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1997, and she has been practicing in the area since.

Currently, she and her husband keep busy chasing their triplet boys around. She stays active gardening, running, hiking, biking, doing yoga and other recreational activities. Dr. Sirianni enjoys treating a variety of issues related to conditions, and loves helping patients achieve their health goals. Her training specializes in soft tissue therapy that compliments chiropractic manipulations. Dr. Sirianni is committed to providing quality health care focusing on the total patient.

Dr. Tristan Burton

Dr. Burton was introduced to chiropractic through his own chronic low back pain of 4 years after suffering two low back fractures playing Division 1 soccer. After four years with this pain, the training room had been exhausted and the orthopedic department had no answers. Dr. Burton was pain-free after six weeks of chiropractic care.

Taking his pre-med degree, he shifted his focus to chiropractic, as he saw chiropractic as truly addressing the cause of injuries rather than simply masking it, as he had been told to do for four years. Throughout his education at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Burton realized that his pain could have been minimized, and perhaps his second fracture avoided, if more appropriate low back treatment had been administered.
He prides himself in doing all he can to avoid this situation for his patients. Dr. Burton enjoys helping patients with all musculoskeletal conditions and prides himself in advising patients on how to remain as active as possible while recovering from and managing their injuries.

He has been incorporating Active Release Techniques into his chiropractic practice for more than four years and is certified in spine, upper extremity, and lower extremity. He has treated many local amateur athletes, high school and collegiate athletes, as well as treating participants at the 2003 Ironman USA Lake Placid Triathlon.

Dr. Kristen Lawrenz

Dr. Lawrenz joined Focused Health Chiropractic in 2007 after practicing in northern New Jersey with Imbrogno Chiropractic Center. After graduating from Brockport High School, Dr. Lawrenz continued her education at Gannon University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. Unsure of her choice of career, she researched different options combining science, health and nutrition before deciding on chiropractic.

Dr. Lawrenz graduated from New York Chiropractic College in 2004 after completing an internship on Long Island. While at NYCC, she participated in the NYCC sports club and was able to treat athletes participating in the Friehoffers race in Albany and at the Armory in New York City. She also traveled to Dallas, Texas as a member of the NYCC soccer teams in the annual Chirogrames held at the Parker Chiropractic College. As a member of the New York Chiropractic Council, she traveled to New York City in a chiropractic tribute to the rescue workers of 9/11. Dr. Lawrenz is thrilled to have returned to the Rochester area, and eager to help her community stay healthy.
